Guest guest
Ma, for some months there was a Lupron Victims Network online but they haven't sent me anything for a number of mo. now so I think it's no longer there. Anyway, that's how I heard about fibromyalgia and endo. Some of the ladies were in much worse pain after the doctors gave them Lupron shots, or even after one shot, so I hope you haven't had any of those. It's chemo and the FDA approved it for Stage D Prostate Cancer, which is why I logged into the network, as my husband was taking it but not nearly as serious as Stage D, rather because of his PSA blood test. What these ladies wrote in to the group was really sad! They too, felt their lives were destroyed. I'm in a rush getting ready for a trip so haven't checked Dr. s's Cure for All Diseases book and maybe somebody else will do that to see what she recommends. I do remember reading a testimonial of fibromyalgia being cleared up with Essiac herb tea. It's also good for cancer and many other ailments so I'd give it a try. It's not expensive if you buy the herb packets and make it yourself, and it does not taste bad at all. I add about an oz. of apple juice and an oz. of water to the 2 oz. of tea that we take twice a day, but you'd want to take it 3 times a day. The cheapest place I found it is at http://www.remedies.net and the company is Natural Heritage Enterprises, now in Colorado. A 1 oz. packet makes 1/2 gal. of tea and the cost for a packet is $12 plus $3 shipping/handling. They have been quick to send it to me. Last time I ordered 4 packets to share one with a friend. For orders over $25 the ship/handling is $5 and under that is $3 so you could get 2 packets for $27 total. The bottles of it already made up are more expensive. Let us all know if you find some herbal formulas that help you. I have a number of herb books but no time to look it up for you right now -- sorry. Maybe the Chinese lady that has a web site will reply to you also. Sunshine herb products may have something for it too. Keep up hope! Guest guest
> I am only 37 and > feel as if I am 100. I hurt everyday and feel so alone in this. Malinda, You are far from alone. Many people have Fibromyalga these days. It is basically the same thing as chronic Fatigue Syndrome. >Alot of > Drs. do not even believe this exists so in my home town there does not seem > to be any help for me. You're probably lucky the doctors don't know about, because they would have probably put you on Prednasone, which would have made you worse instead of better. My aunt has Fibromyalga and now she's also addicted to Prednasone. Yuck! Ultimately you have to take responsibility for your own illness and your own cure. You really need to read Dr. 's book 'The Cure for all Diseases'. In the mean time I have some suggestions. Drink more water. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (assuming your kidneys can handle that much). Drink plain tap water not bottled water, soda, coffee, tea, beer or some other manufactured beverage. These dehydrate you instead of supplying the water your body needs. Cafeine is a powerful and harmful drug and artificial sweetners such as Aspartame are extremely toxic. Soft drinks acidify the body which promotes illness. Eat more raw vegetables and fruits. If you can afford a juicer, raw carrot and other vegetable juices are the easient to digest. Champion is a good inexpensive juicer. Vegetable juices also make your body more alkaline which discourages parasites. Stop eating meat, sugar, refined foods. The all acidify your body, contain mold and parasites, and are contaminated with petroleum solvents, which, according to Dr. is the co-factor of almost all diseases. You need to start a colon cleansing progam. A typical American diet causes constipation an fecal buildup in the colon which causes toxemia, where the waste which cannot be eliminated reciculates through the body, geting deposited in various places which is a leading cause of Fibromyalga. You need to kill the parasites that are in your body. Worms, bacteria, virii, and fungii need to be gotten rid of. You should buy a zapper (you can find a lot of them on the Internet for less than $100 or build your own). Dr. also suggests three herbs that will do a thorough job of killing the parasites that are in your body. After your colon in functioning again and you are free of parsites you should do a kidney flush and a liver flush. Again Dr. has recipes for these. You should stop using store-bought cosmetics and soap. They are all contaminated with petroleum solvents. Dr. has recipes for replacements or you can find replacements from the Awareness Corporation and Planet Solutions which have passed Dr. 's tests. Check your house for gas leaks, radon, freon leaks and asbestos or fiberglass. Dusan Stepkovitch has a great web site with lots of related informatin at " http://home.sol.no/~dusan/index.html " >The Gateway to Health . You have a serious disease which took many years to develop. You are going to have to take somewhat extreme measures for some time to reverse this condition. Good luck and God bless you. Guest guest
Fibromyalgia and CFS are not nearly the same thing. CFS is poorly understood and a wastebasket diagnosis. Fibromyalgia has very specific diagnostic criteria. They are treated basically the same way as should most all other diseases and conditions. Two things: 1. Remove toxins and other crap that don't belong in the body. 2. Replace nutrients, etc that belong in the body that should be there. It's just that simple. Putting the body into a proper balance. Tap water could contain several things toxic to your body including copper, fluoride and chlorine. Bad advice for someone that needs to rid their body of a toxic load. Distilled water is a better choice. Avoiding caffeine and soda and Nutrasweet (aspartame) is good advice. You may be craving sugar and caffeine because your energy level is shot, but caffeine and sugar actually contribute to the problem. Aspartame has its problems also. Going vegan may or may not be smart. Certainly increasing raw and/or cooked fruits and veggies (and thereby decreasing meat) is good. This a good place to start.... > Many people have Fibromyalga these days. Do you why this is? I am supposed to be going to a doc next week and want to be careful of what I am given. Unfortunately, things have gotten sobad for me I have to get treated by SOMEONE who is covered by medical insurance. All the " real " docs and healers aren't and I cannot afford what they charge.
