If you're worried about peroxide oxidizing the metal, it won't much at that low concentration of 15 drops in a glass of water, plus the contact time isn't there - you soon swallow it. Also, oxidized metals are generally very stable, mercury included, and the problem form of mercury is not the oxidized but the organic methylmercury form. For those reasons, so far, as a wholistic health consultant, I do NOT caution against using peroxide orally.
