Guest guest
Hi, everyone, There are a few moms on the WAPHB list with silent reflux babies who also have some signs of allergies. For various reasons they do not have access to breast milk. Their babies are not doing well on the raw milk formula. I recommended the homemade liver formula with the whey excluded at first and a small amount of Biokult added. I'm thinking that the liver formula makes perfect sense for these babies since they seem to have trouble digesting dairy products. Also I'm just thinking that for a baby, the liver formula is just like eating GAPS. It's mostly broth, some liver and coconut oil plus olive oil, sunflower oil, cod liver oil, acerola powder and lactose. What do you guys think? Has anyone out there used the liver formula for a GAPS baby? Also, would the lactose powder also need to be excluded, since it is a disaccharide? If the lactose was removed, what would you add to replace the nutrition missing from that ingredient? Ann Marie
