Guest guest
, thank you for pointing out this site. I often do not vote because I am ill-informed and feel guilty picking names that I really don't have enough information about. You have really inspired me to pay more attention to what is going on politically, although I will never be able to debate politically with anybody...I'll leave that to you and . =) Susi I'm sure my GOP friends will love me recruiting the other side lol. I'm glad I inspired you. If any of you ever need help finding out more about your local candidates and elections I'll be glad to help you with the research. I will tell you one of the first places you should look is the League of Women Voter's Guides...It tends to be a bit more liberally biased but still all in all a good sumation for those who have no other way to research their candidates....I'll see if I can't find that site and I'll post it to. I hope ya'll don't mind me mentioning this stuff. I'm trying not to spark a debate. ITs just a big part of my life so sometimes its near impossible not to mention it. Tell me to shut up and I will :-)

I'm a liberal, but I don't really care which side anyone's bread is buttered on... just as long as they vote. That's a soapbox I can get on and you'll have to knock me off of it. If you've said something here that inspires even one person to go to the polls and vote, then I say YOU GO GIRL! Everybody should vote! It's important! Just vote! -- Sandy

Guest guest
Gillian, I like your comment about sex appeal....... Today we were watching our local Fair Parade, which in an election year, is largely a parade of the current candidates for public office. We announced a "Wrangler Alert". On the basis of the Alert, my sister determined her Vote. ;o) So did I. Becky When it comes to Politics I have a hard fastened rule, vote for the one whohas sex appeal!
