Wow, that's interesting! I am almost exactly the opposite, but I have a friend who sounds like you. I'd be curious to know if it's related to that " Eat Right for Your Body Type " thing: different diets for people with different blood types. I'm type A negative, so my " correct " diet is supposedly mostly vegetarian. (Yish! I tried that for about 6 months last year; it was okay but a lot of work since most everything that was " good " for me to eat was nothing I'd grown up with.) Type O's get to eat meat -- do you have Type O blood? The two positives that came out of it for me were that I can now drink -- and actually prefer -- my coffee black, instead of loaded with cream, and that I discovered I like soy milk (actually tastes richer to me than low-fat or skim), at least on cereal. I was seeing a naturopath last year, to see if I could find alternative solutions to the P and PA. She's the one who suggested I go on the " Eat Right... " plan. I honestly don't think it did too much to reduce inflammation, but perhaps I'd have had better results if I'd stuck to it more than a few months. It did help the P, though. --Louise Tucson
