Guest guest
Just wondered whether there was some connection between Ps/PA and sensitivity to the sun. I've always had fair skin, so thought I'd just got sunburnt at the weekend. But it seems to have spread and gone all rash-like and very itchy, like a heat rash, and feels very hot. If anything, it is getting worse as the week goes on. But it's not Ps-like - it's not flaky or cracked or anything. Any ideas? Could it be a sudden sensitivity, since developing the Ps/PA, to the sun block or even just the baby lotion I smeared over the " sun burn " to cool it down? Incidentally, the sun has helped the Ps - I'm being my sister's bridesmaid on Saturday in a sleeveless dress and was worried about how my arms would look. (Also worried about how I'll manage to do all that standing up and holding a heavy bunch of flowers for ages, but I'm being allowed to sit down for most of it, so should be OK.) The Ps is still there, but it's not as bad as it was, so hopefully won't look too bad. But here in England we don't get much chance of sun, so it's not much of a long term solution (particularly if it is that which has caused the rash)! Does anyone else with small patches of mild Ps try covering it over with foundation or something similar? Does it make it any worse? Sorry for asking about what are really minor concerns compared to most of you.
