Hi

The difference is how it is given and absorbed. it is the same medication,

but it is injected into a muscle so it doesn't go through the stomach and

intestines for absorption. It goes directly into the blood stream via the

muscles. I had to switch to IM metho as my body was not absorbing to po

pills properly, thus it wasn't affecting my body. That is the only

difference, although some say they have less side effects Im than PO.

Hi Kathleen, I have a great interest in herbs and did some research on

wormwood. This is what I found: The parts of the plant (or flower if that

is what it is?) that are used are the leaves and the tops. Their chemical &

nutrient content in wormwood is Absinthol, acetylene, artemisic, ketone,

essential oils, flavonoids, lignin, phenolic compounds, pinene, and thujone.

It acts as a mild sedative, expels worms, increases stomach acidity, and

lowers fever. It's useful for vascular disorders, including migraines, and

for intestinal parasites. It's often used with black walnut for removal of

parasites. I did find a BIG caution: It is not recommended for long-term

use, as it can be habit-forming and it should never be used during

pregnancy, as it can cause spontaneous abortions. I hope this helps some.

I've had great success in cleansing and detoxifying my colon of and bowels

by using a regiment of lemon juice cleansing enemas followed by coffee

enemas. It's really very simple and it has made a big difference in my

health. The one made out of lemon juice also restores the PH balance. If you

or anyone would like the receipt's and the procedure (since you must have

the right ratio of lemon juice to bottled water and the coffee one is made

quite differently than you'd make a cup of coffee!),

feel free to e-mail me at: Nan2594@... Hope this

helps, Kit

I can take it. So long as people understand I am sincere. It would be nice

if they knew I won't knowingly mislead them, either.

Read my last post again, about testing AM cancer treatments, Art. All that

I am asking of alternative cancer promoters is, essentially, " how do you

know that your product/services work against cancer with any consistency? " .

It's not brain surgery. Perhaps I haven't made this clear.

Double blind studies are needed to test out things like treatments for

headaches, which will often go away by themselves before a pill gets a

chance to work. My wife has poor eyesight and has taken antacid tablets

for her headache by mistake on a few occasions. They seemed to work, but I

can't recommend them.

Before this century there was no clear medical diagnosis such as " cancer " so

no one really knows this. Also the latest figures actually show a small

drop in death rates from cancer. But I agree it looks bad.

We know a fair bit about some of the factors causing the above. For

example, smoking and lung cancer. Smoking is also strongly associated with

a great many others - pancreas, oesophagus, oral cancer, nasopharyngeal

cancer. When it is completely eliminated the incidence of many cancers will

drop. Doctors have tried, but governments are hooked on the revenues, and

people like the freedom to do themselves harm.

Regarding the increasing risk of breast cancer, also a big factor in the

above figures, the advent of easy contraception is undoubtedly one factor in

any overall increase in the incidence, as women are having fewer children,

and deferring pregnancy until later and later in life. These are known

factors in breast cancer, independently of any effect of O/C itself. Other

modern factors are increased body weight and fat intake. Dietary factors

and exercise appear to be important in many other cancers.

So if there is any breast-beating to be done it is perhaps about the

difficulties of changing social behaviours that contribute to cancer.

Incidentally the incidence of some cancers is falling eg stomach cancer-- we

don't know why.

We know also that most cancers are related to ageing. People are living

longer and consequently getting more cancers. Regardless, life expectancies

are steadily increasing. So is the cup half full, or half empty?

You know I won't agree, even as a furriner. I suggest that what the free

market has done so far is to give us more cancer treatments than we can

reasonably know what to think about.

!!

I've been wondering where you've been!

I got your latest newsletter. Great job, as usual.

You guys put out a quality product! And, thanks for

the family pic. Your family now has a place of

" honor " on our fridge!

I happened to catch an article not to long ago by Dr.

T. Berry Brazelton (ever see him on TV or read his

columns? I guess he's our generation's Dr. Spock). He

was saying that for prematurity adjustments, you not

only count however many weeks early the baby was, you

also count the amount of time they spent in NICU!

Never heard that before. Using his formula, that

makes S & P almost 8 mos behind, and more in line with

their actual developmental delay of about 12 mos (last

time they were tested, anyway). Just curious to see

if you'd read this anywhere. Everyone else just uses

the however many weeks early formula.

Regarding talking, I think there are a bunch of us w/3

year olds that are frustrated by their lack of speech!

However, S & P babble incessently (mostly to each

other). THEY seem to understand each other, but the

rest of the world (i.e. me and Mike) don't have a

clue!! They are starting to sign more spontaneously,

but, they can be stubborn about that too. If Mike is

eating pretzels, they, of course, have to share. If

he asks them if they'd like " more " , generally

will sign " more-please " . Sam just looks at you with

an expression like " he got some, how come I didn't " .

is saying more things that sound like words to

me. As usualy, once he gets rolling, I know Sam won't

be far behind.

Hope all is well w/you and yours in the Great White

North. Has Spring-Sprung yet for you?

Take care-

My Heart and prayers go out to both of you and your husband. It is a sin

Goldy, that your husband had to find out the hard way of what you were trying

to tell him. you need to find new Doctors to help you. So many out

there still do not know enough to help and A Medical DR. isn't what you need.

A Gastroentologist is what you need. You also need a good therapist to put

you on anti-depression meds. My Husband has this disease and he is on Zoloft

there are others out there and some work and some don't it is trial and error

for this. The Zoloft works for him he is on an even keel and seems to be able

to function better at home and work. His attitude is much better. He is not

able to have the treatments so at least he has this.

DR. said something about transplant in the future but who knows??

I have learned that the Patients need to tell the Doctors all there is to

tell about how you feel and etc.. Otherwise they have no idea at all. Please

don't give up . Goldy is your husband a candidate for treatments? Take

Care, Irish~

That is so cool! I started it about two weeks ago and I'v lost 6lbs! I

am in the 22-29pt range unfortunately LOL! It's pretty easy too and very

balanced I think. Have you tried the Garden Vegetable Soup yet? It's 0pts

that?

I think the possibilities are endless with enough response from the public.

I would make the main issue her right to live and continue with making the

judge aware of the miracles that have happened with hbot. Get your

neighbors and friends to take time to write a letter also. In addition,

several people are writing the the Tampa papers about this case. The big

thing is to make it a very high profile case. If everyone on this list

would put yourself in Terri's shoes and then decide if you can spare enough

time to write a letter to this judge along with a postage stamp, you could

have a part in saving Terri's life.
