Guest guest
Janet, When I was first diagnosed, I contacted the Arthritis Foundation and got a lot of information. Almost too much, I was overwhelmed between that information and what I was picking up off the internet. In any event, they do offer an Arthritis Self Help Course, which is likely similar to the program you mention below. I have not attended any sessions, since my schedule is ugly as it is, without laying this on top of it. However, the chapter volunteers were very helpful and sent me a huge pile of information. My chapter also offers People With Arthritis Can Exercise classes and Arthritis Information Meetings, for what it's worth. Patty As I have said in two previous posts ASMP is an acronym for Arthritis Self Management Program. & nbsp; It was designed by a group in California, in the 70s and since has spread all over the North American continent. & nbsp; It is administered by the Arthritis Society (Foundation) and is run throughout the entire year. >>
