Guest guest
Yes, I know it's not supposed to go in the freezer -- blame it on another senior moment. Does anyone out there know if this is salvageable? Any biochemists out there? It was in the freezer overnight and I realized what I did this morning. I haven't told my husband yet -- he's the one with PA. The Enbrel hotline is only available during the week and his next injection is tomorrow. Can this marriage be saved? Help!!! Guest guest
I just traveled to Kauai with my Enbrel on ice and had to talk extensively with the Pharmacist at Enbrel. Basically if it doesn't go over room temp for 24 hours it's probably OK an at the worst just less effective. On the other extreme they said never to use it if it has been frozen or reconstitutes cloudy. Call the hot line and simply use the MD or emergency prompt. There is always someone on call. Also any major hospital pharmacy should be able to give you accurate information. But, alas, they were pretty clear to me. Don't use it if frozen. R.E.
