Guest guest
Hi all -- I have been on record about my experience w/ MTX before but the recent threads have encouraged me to reiterate: 1. I think MTX has done more for me that any other single drug on the market, including Enbrel. My sausage digits are gone and my overall pain is greatly reduced. 2. I prefer the injected form to the oral. The oral dosage gave me stomach upset, though that was reduced after a short haitus from the medication. The stomach trouble disappeared completly when I went to the injectible form. I inject subcutaneously according to my doctors explicit instructions and the injections themselves have become routine and uneventful. 3. I experience no side effects from the injected methotrexate -- I have no hair loss or thinning. I am injecting the maximum dosage. Of course this all is going to vary from person to person, but these are my experiences with the drug. ===== , NJ Highlands raharris@...
