Beds, ears and Remicade

A few years ago, while I was having a difficult time with my back

(among other PA symptoms), my husband and I bought an " air bed " . It

has been wonderful! You can adjust the softness as needed on each

side. It lets you sink in alittle without putting stress on any one

point. Each side can be adjusted seperately thus when one of us

moves

the other isn't disturbed. There are several brands on the market in

various price ranges. (I sound like a commercial, don't I?)

I, too have ear scaling. Ointment rather than cream works best for

me

also.

One more, my Rheumy suggested Remicade today. I know that it has

been

discussed here periodically, but if anyone has anything to share

regarding taking that step, I'd appreciate the information.

I think that the idea of the drug doesn't upset me as much as the

necessity to admit that this disease is progressing and will not just

go away......

Thanks for being there,

Hi ,

Certainly sounds great ! I suppose a Water Bed would do the same thing?? except that one might get sea-sick !! :-)

It is nice to see that more people are posting now, where we can all see that to a varying degree, we suffer the same 'things!!'...and have the same problems !!
