Guest guest
Hi there...yankeegirl here!! I have been reading with interest all your wonderful posts... Being very new to this I have not had any advice to give although, all of you are in my thoughts often...I am 42 years old and have always " plowed " though any problem, or pain...including having three levels in my neck fused and just about a month had back surgery...and many other " things " that we many others endure...when the neurosurgeon opened up my back...double the incision because of what he found...he asked my husband how I was managing what he described as " a nasty case of arthritis " and How I was able to manage the pain? My husband said that I always " just kept going!! " and up to now I guess I have... but I now have a bad flare-up of psoriasis and problems with my hip...sometimes I am finding it hard to walk!!...sorry to ramble... anyway I have an appointment tomorrow with my wonderful family doctor, and I need some advice from all you warriors!! Any words of wisdom? I am going to ask to be refered to a reumatologist...I have been having symptoms for aout 10 years...although as a child I had psoriasis...Thanks so much!!
