Guest guest
Okay, if it takes 8 months for Wheat to leave our system then how does cutting out eggs and dairy along with the what from the beginning give us a true picture of what we can't tolerate. If we still have Eczema and allergies or C after removing these things for weeks then what? We assume it is the wheat protiens that are the culprit and see if it goes away in 8 months time? Do we eliminate it all for 8 months and then add one thing back and see what happens? I don't see how true results happen if it is wheat and it takes this long to leave. It seems that taking the other foods out before the last of the wheat leaves the body is kind of pointless. I am wondering if we should be grain free first and then start the full GAPS on month 6 or 7 of being off of grains? Test dairy and eggs after the 8 month period that way we know all things have finally had time to leave the body. TIA
