Guest guest
Hi all, Since I am currently on the hi dose of 20 mg of Arava with 200 mg of Imuran, If I get a bad flare on this combo in the near future, we will be trying remicade also. I understand that it is a long 2-3 hour transfusion around once a month and that it is antibodies to TNF . It may even work on those that have failed Enbrel. My question would be this- why would not you try Arava or Enbrel first?? They are considered steps up the ladder way before Remicade...much less invasive... Especially Arava can be combined with metho or imuran for an enhanced effect if needed. I suppose getting the drugs approved can be the sticking point, but having the doctor call your condition sero-negative rheumatoid arthritis may just do the trick!
