Guest guest
Jack wrote about the company doctor making a diagnosis of PA and that was it...no further discussion on possible carpel tunnel or any other repetitive strain injuries being the culprit. I was injured in a bad accident at work and the first problem (and really so far the only problem) that my company has paid for was the carpel tunnel surgery....which did not help 100%. I have numbness still and no strength in my right hand. Now the left is giving me fits.....sharp pains from nowhere and numbness. Anyway, I am debating whether to have the carpel tunnel surgery on the left hand right now. I am just wondering lots about the PA diagnosis and what the implications are when that diagnosis is made. Will that rule out my carpel tunnel? What will the company I work for think about a diagnosis of PA and if it is related to the work accident (I am 100% sure it is and so is my doctor) . Any further input on this subject Jack would be really, really appreciated. I wish I could discuss my accident, but it is not settled with the company yet and so I fear talking about it too much. Lets just say I was a flight attendant and the word downdraft ! Any info would be so appreciated. Thanks very much. Poulsbo, WA.
