Guest guest
Hi all -- long-time lurker here . . . What do you all recommend for bedding, specifically comforters? My PPD- NOS, Feingold-sensitive son has a down comforter, and I was wondering about allergens, dust mites, etc. The salesperson at Bed Bath and Beyond said that the allergen problem is with *feather* comforters because of dander, etc., but that down comforters are fine. True or not? Am I better off getting the anti-allergen synthetic stuff? or is there any possibility of releasing chemicals from the synthetic filling? My son isn't specifically reacting to his comforter -- but I just want to reduce the load on his system any way possible. Thanks!
