*Can I start the diet now? (Before food allergy testing)*

I have a question about the GF/CF diet. I found out about the diet

through another mother over the internet so immediately started trying

it and scheduled a DAN! doctor visit. His doctor visit is not till

Sept.5th. My thing is I know one of the first things the doc. is

suppose to do is a food allergy test. Is that the same as a IgG and IgE

test? Is it O.K. for my son to already be on the diet before we see the

doctor for the testing? I just wasn't sure if before my son gets the

testing done if he is suppose to eat like normal. I can't ask the DAN!

doc because everytime you call, all calls go to a machine where they

never call back. My son is turning four in a week and he is non-verbal.

I wish I had heard of this sooner.
