Guest guest
and mo, I use the ointment, and apply it morning and night to the nails and the skin below them, which was blistered and peeling. I didn't try to apply any under the nail, because the nails were thick and seemed to be " bonded " to the skin beneath--like there was no gap for a nail file. I guess the nails were so porous that there was some penetration. Ron, They were what I would call gone--there was no hard, clear nail left. It had been replaced by a thick porous substance which could be scraped off with a knife when dry, or just by rubbing when wet. Sorry if this grosses anybody out--it wasn't a big hit with me either. After a few weeks of the Dovonex (bless it!) new growth started and has gradually spread upwards--I can even cut my nails like I used to before this " stuff " happened. I usually try to stay as far away from doctors as I can, but this dermatologist was definitely worth the visit. arjay
