Guest guest
I got up early this morning, before the cackle of the morning chorus, mainly because I had no sleep whatsoever last night. It was bad enough when the sun set, the Swans were at it, the Geese were at it, Calling Birds screaming my name, French hens laying eggs in my bed and the Partridge is keeping a very low profile. Yes as I went into the kitchen to put the kettle on, out flooded a river of Goats milk, as the eight maids were still at it! The Swans then vacated the bathroom, decided they should check this new river out! I told my ageing physician my problem, he told me to unsubscribe to Onelist, try another hobby, before prescribing valium and sleeping draft's. Must admit, just having someone to listen to MY problems helped. Slight problem with Mother, not only did she take the staircase to the upper floor, she also ascended the loft ladder, no wonder I could not locate her. Then she decided that the cold water tank, was really a bath and got stuck! Just as I was trying to disengage Mother from the tank, the door bell sounded, so I had to drop her back in, descend two sets of stairs and open the door. I was greeted by NINE LADIES DANCING, so I told them that " Riverdance Auditions " were being held in Dublin! I just peeked out a moment ago, the ladies are still their! You are correct, in this season of goodwill, well I could not leave them their, so invited them in. At the moment they are practising there set dancing skills ON the dinning room table and the NOISE! Meanwhile I emptied the Maids a milking buckets, put the contents in the bath, after removing the Geese and decided there was only one thing for it! Well if it was good enough for Cleopatra, its good enough for me! Thankfully no asp was seen! I took the entire contents of the valium bottle, plus several sleeping drafts and yes I am having severe side affects, I am wide awake! Love and God Bless Gillian
