I so sorry you are having such bad experiences with your RD. I would have

been in tears too if I had such a rude doc! There are good ones out there but

not easy to find. Luckily I do have one who is a woman and I feel, does try

to really help. She recently started doing acupuncture in her practice. Have

you had experiences with it? Does it help? There is a prevailing attitude

that the doc is supposed to know better than we what is going on with our

bodies, but a good one knows that ulitmately it is US that are in charge of

our health, not THEM. This should be a partnership not a dictatorship. Keep

trying, don't give up!

You mentioned that the mtx was making you so sick. Have you tried injectable

mtx? I haven't myself, as thankfully I seem to have a stomach like a steel

tank but I have heard that it is less likely to cause problems. I remember a

long time ago one of the first things that the doc gave me was Indocin and I

had such a severe reaction to it that I couldn't do anything for two days.

It's the only thing that has given me real problems. I keep hearing the same

diet things from many different sources. I think I will give it a go.
