temperature sensitive, sitting in front of heater

Hi,

My son ( 5 ) is very temperature sensitive. Has issues if its too hot in the car, too cold also. The past several days his desire is to sit for hours in front of a portable heater. Anyone else experienced it? I'm unsure if I should try to move him or leave him there I guess it just seems odd when a ADHD and Asperger child just sits still.
