Guest guest Posted March 23, 2001 Report Share Posted March 23, 2001 , Thanks so much for listing the side effects of Sulfasalazine. There are more listed than on the printout from my pharmacy. I have been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. I am not a drinker, so this came as a big shock. There are several indications of hepatitis, although I test negative for A,B, and C. I was on Sulfasalazine for over a year, starting at 500mg twice a day and increasing to 1000mg twice a day. It never helped the PA and I felt really awful while taking it.
