Guest guest
April - Ask your dentist for a dexamethasone taper. This is an oral steroid taken for several days, taking several tablets the first day and fewer each day thereafter. Or a single injection of dexamethasone right at the root of the tooth. The injection hurts like hell but settles the tooth right down as a rule. After 13 root canals I can tell you it works very well for me! The other possibility is that you have a cyst just beyond the root. Sometimes you can see it on the x-ray but it's one of those things they have to be looking for and position the film just right to find. A cyst usually requires endodontic surgery to drain and remove. Just a couple of ideas-- Chris ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
