Guest guest
Hi, Robyn! I can relate to your asking if anyone has felt the sunshine on their face. One unusually warm day during the winter, I'd worked an extra hour during the week and opted to leave an hour early on Friday. Having something of a sunlight deficiency disorder, any sun in the winter is most welcome. But that warmish afternoon (must have been high 30's because I was carrying my coat and someone asked me if I wasn't cold) I stopped for a minute and stood by the driver's door of my car, looked up, shut my eyes and soaked up some sun. I think I knew what plants feel like when they're absorbing nutrients. What a feeling that was! Smiling at children isn't the only thing. You wanna see years disappear? See the returning smile of a senior citizen. One rather stern looking woman in a store one day smiled back and she had the most wonderfully warm smile that must have dropped 30 years from her face. You really wanna go nuts? Play with a puppy!! Everything is so new to them. Life is an adventure with something exciting at every turn. Find something that makes you forget, even for a minute or two, about PA and P and doctors and shots and pills. It helps.
