Guest guest
WMy 11 year old son has been on Nystatin for yeast fighting for 5 weeks. We saw strong die off reactions (severe stomach pains and an extreme tantrum) at the beginning but so far have seen no big payoff. We are still waiting for him to " come out of the fog " as the nurse at Pfeiffer Treatment Center (where he is being treated) said we would see. I have a few questions: 1. Has anyone had a similar experience and then tried another prescription anti-fungal (like Diflucan) with better results? 2. We just started MB-12 shots on Thursday so he has had only one shot so far. The next day we noticed he was agitated and physically pushy which is not like him. Today he is extremely agitated and acting quite strange. Very overwhelmed and not able to regulate himself in terms of emotions. I can just tell the yeast is there. Can it come back that quickly?? After only one shot of MB-12? I wanted to give the MB-12 a chance because the doc felt it would really help him and he has lots of social issues and I believe MB-12 can help with that. Any advice or insights would be very appreciated. I don't know if I should give the next shot tomorrow. Thank you all so much, in Illinois
