My kid is gf cf and scd, when I want a milk consiste I mix almond flour or

almonds from the health food store with distilled water in a blender to make

yougurt and baking recipes. Hope this helps. Digestivewellness.com has great

almonds and almond flour and will ship it to your door.

OT(?): What can I sub for evaporated milk in recipe?

Hi

I've got a recipe that calls for evaporated milk. For regular milk I'd use rice

milk (our daughter is GFCF mostly SF). What can I sub for the evaporated milk

to get the same consistency?

Thanks.

If it also calls for water at all, cut down on the water.

I simmer So Delicius Coconut Milk until it becomes thicker. It also works if you

need condensed milk by adding sugar and simmering for about an hour. Made great

fudge! Hope this helps,
