Guest guest
Indomethacin at first seemed like a miracle for me and my PA for about 2 weeks. Then massive swelling of the legs and then Migraines. I have never had migraine headaches before. I suggested to the doctor that the Indomethacin was causing the problem. He said, No, that people take it for headaches and it was not causing the headaches. This rocked on for 5 months. He sent me for a sonogram of the carotid artery and a cat scan. They were negative. Eventually after pleading with the DR for something else to try, I started Celebrex. No headaches, no swelling with the new medication. Celebrex took the edge off of the pain. I still talked to the doctor about the indomethacin and he still says it was a coincidence that I had headaches while on the meds. When will they listen??? But for right now I am off all arthritis medications except 10 mil prednisone a day due to a blood clot in the leg. I look forward for some relief soon.
