Guest guest
Hi everyone This is from Queensland Australia I've been busy for awhile and and have'nt been able to read the postings for about two months? so i'd better remind you who i am, I'm . I've had PA badly for 5 1/2 years, and it was only this year that i discovered what it was and insisted on a referral to a Rheumatlogist, and have been on MTX 10mg once a week, a very low dosage, but it's worked for me, very slow acting but a huge improvement, i also take Celebrex, usually one at night when the pain is bad, and that works too, I exercise, swim once a week, We have a good climate here, so i can swim in the outdoor pool all year round, although there's a cool wind in the winter, and i do Tai-chi which i think is excellent, also i take some herbal tablets, which contain oil of celery seed, glucosamine sulphate etc. I'm trying to get on a disability pension as i live in an area of very high unemployment, although the government denies this, don't they all. My Dr has been suggesting for some time that i apply, and i finally did today, i won't know for a couple of weeks if i have a chance of getting it, the wheels of the social security grind slowly, or Centrelink, as it's currently known, they keep changing the name every couple of years, hoping everone will think they've become people who help. Anyway that's me Cheers roll on the end of the Olypics, that's all there is on telly here at the moment.
