Guest guest
I have been off of the mtx for 3 months now and am still taking 400mg of celebrex a day. My experience off of mtx has been positive so far and I am going to enjoy the time off of mtx. Of course, I hope and pray that I will never need them again. I believe it is possible with exercise, the right attitude and maybe even the right diet. Which brings me to ask: is anyone here with PA involved in an exercise program designed specifically for the PA, or does anyone see a physiotherapist on a regular basis? I bring this up because I think it is the exercise that has been the key for me. It was the key that got me through my first flare up several years ago. Exercise is physically and psychologically beneficial. Many people will say that exercise hurts them too much or they are just not able. Any activity you do that gets your joints and muscles in motion is positive activity. I also have instructions from my physiotherapist, for several different non-aerobic, non-impact exercises which are simply designed to move the joints. Would love to hear what other people are doing in that sphere of things! Janet
