My son was diagnosed 5 years ago with AML and will have been off treatment for 5 years in July. He is also a cardiac kid, having 4 OHS. Now he had an oncology check up in December with BW and his Hgb was 147 (normal being 118-146, cause I know in the US the results look different) I wasnt happy with that so I had repeat BW done Jan 23 and his Hgb is now 151, slowly creeping up so it seems. His ferritin level (iron) was borderline low normal, so its not too much iron in his system. Now call me neurotic, but I cant help it. Anyone have any ideas why it would be climbing??
