New and question about Risperdal...

Hi all,

I am new here but have a quick question. My son's psych just Rx'ed Risperdal

(to help him sleep and ease the transitions after coming down off his ADHD meds)

for him and we haven't taken it yet and she did discuss all the side effects

both short term and long term with me, but I'm wondering if anyone here has a

child that has taken this and what was the result?

Just a little background on my son - he is almost 7 and was just diagnosed with

HFA, ADHD, Sensory Integration Disorder and a few other things. If you met him

and didn't know much about autism you wouldn't even have any idea that he had

it. I am a single parent and we live in OK.
