Guest guest Posted October 18, 1999 Report Share Posted October 18, 1999 Hi all, Usually I just read the posts and don't say anything, but I just wanted to address the hair loss issue. I have been on mtx for 15 years and have noticed a definitely thinning of my hair. But...No one else seems to notice it. I can still wear my hair shoulder length and it still looks ok. I took 12.5 mg mtx a week for 13 years, then it was upped to 15, then 17.5 and now 20 mg. I have not noticed any more hair falling out than usual tho, even at the increased dosage.
