Guest guest
Ken:>On the other hand, the dream of getting back my sense of smell has not (yet) >been realized, although there are some hints that it might be returning. I recently read that sense of smell may not return, even after having polyps removed as small polyps may remain. THis is what is occuring in my case. I think you're brave to do the desensitisation on your own - I'm glad it worked out. My asthma symptoms have worsened since being desensitised. Does anyone know of any adverse reactions to St 's Wort - the tablets I'm taking (two weeks now) have St s Wort, Passion flow, Gotu Kola, Ginkgo and Green tea in them. I'm beginning to suspect the tablets, though my asthma has been bad all year (as have my sinuses - I've had an infection for months). I am taking 1200mg (4 tabs) aspirin a day. THis may sound huge (compared to what you folk are quoting) but it's the dose recommended by the immuologist at the hospital. 80mg is about what my dietician said could be found in a normal daily intake of food... I'm lucky I don't get any stomach irritation. all the best, Beverley Author of " The Chimaera Conspiracy " , new Australian YA action-packed sci-fi mystery novel. http://chimaera.topcities.com available from http://greaterglider.com " Getting Started with Homeschooling " and " Learning in the Absence of Education " available from http://members.ozemail.com.au/~beverleypaine/homeschool
