Here is a link with lots of answers to what S. Boulardii is and does.

http://www.giprohealth.com/sboulardii.html

It is a beneficial yeast that is supposed to help get rid of Candida

(much like beneficial bacteria crowd out pathogenic bacteria) and it is

supposed to help properly acidify the GI tract so that pathogens can't

survive there. You take it in addition to probiotics.

I am wondering if some of our issues are yeast related, so I am going

to try it and see if it helps. I'll let you know.

Sorry I couldn't help on the constipation issue...

thanks for your wonderful in-depth update, sorry to hear

that your household has been sick. I have a few questions below for

or others. Thanks!

I did a

test on the goat, and I think both myself and my son reacted to it. So

I've decided to ditch all dairy except ghee for a trial period and

then retry some butter and go from there.

WHAT WERE THE SIGNS OF YOUR REACTIONS? THIS IS ONE OF MY BIG

QUESTIONS, IS HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU'RE REACTING TO SOMETHING?

My son has also recently

started taking l. acidophilus and continues to take s. boulardii since

he isn't getting the yogurt right now.

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT S. BOULARDII IS? IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED

ON THIS LIST AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS OR WHY ONE TAKES IT IN

ADDITION TO A PROBIOTIC.

We continue to take therapeutic doses of Green Pasture's combo

cod

liver oil/butter oil.

SO, IS BUTTER OIL COMPARABLE TO GHEE, IN TERMS OF BEING OKAY

EVEN FOR THOSE WITH DAIRY SENSITIVITIES? I RECENTLY ADDED IT BACK IN,

WANTING THE FORTIFICATION FOR MY SON'S TEETH, BUT I WASN'T SURE WHETHER

IT WAS A GOOD IDEA, DAIRY-WISE...
