Guest guest
Hi >Are you saying that EPO causes a high Sodium level? I've been thinking aabout taking EPO but didn't know how much to take.< Well I do not know to be HONEST! My LFTs, [liver function tests] in October 1995 were NORMAL! November 1997, just before I got carted off to Hospital, my Sodium, Potassium and Chloride were HIGH! No wonder I landed in Hospital four weeks later. Now I started the EPO in MARCH 1998. September 1998 all went back to NORMAL. January 1999, all was NORMAL. August 1999, Sodium, Potassium and Chloride were HIGH again! After that my GP refused to check my Sodium, Potassium, and Chloride???? Perhaps HE knows something that I do not??? Well I was TOLD to take 1000mgs of PURE EPO per condition. I state pure because they have to add Vitamin E to stop it oxidising. So while the capsule states 500mgs of EPO, you will probably find it contains 225mg EPO and the rest is Vitamin E. Out with the calculator I am afraid. If you just have psoriasis you just need 1000mgs. If you have P and PA, you need 2000mgs and so on. However do not expect any effect for six months and you MUST continue taking it! Miss a day and you can knock off a month! Hope that helps.
