Guest guest
Mike, I'm in the same boat. The only thing that seems to work in the Ulravate cream. However, I'd be interested in trying this oil. Do you buy it at a Herb Shop or where? I've gotta try this--I know some people use Oregano Oil in cooking (it's just the oil of the same stuff you put in spaghetti sauce) but I didn't know about the skin healing. I get most of my bulk herbs and oils from Penn Herb, by the way--their prices are WAY better than my local grocery or health food store. Guest guest
Mike, can you put the Oil of Oregano on your scalp, that is where my main problem is...I really don't have it anywhere else and I have noticed during the summer mine is worse than in the winter...Just curious... Guest guest
<<I know some people use Oregano Oil in cooking ...by the way--their prices are WAY better than my local grocery or health food store.>> What you have to watch out for is that nearly all commercial Oregano oil is mislabeled, and is really Thyme oil, which is toxic and innefective as a substitute for real oregano oil. It's absolutely crucial that as home medicine you find the real thing. Probably the best place to get the real thing is the health food store and it is not cheap at all. Good thing you don't need much. ciao Duncan
Guest guest
Talitha, Yes you could get it at any health food store for the most part....Or herb shop like you said... But I wouldnt go start buying it just yet.....First of all its really expensive..... And second ....... It seems like it took the psoriasis plaques away on my skin..... But there is still a red mark there and it wont go away.... I guess I spoke too soon in that last post... But it isnt getting worse during the last few days....If anything it might be getting better and the redness may go away.....I'll keep you updated.... It definately did get arid of the plaque and the red area is level with the rest of my skin.. >Subject: Re: Oil of Oregano works.... >Mike, >I'm in the same boat. Guest guest
Mike - I don't mean to be insensitive, but the visual image of this made my day!!! I'm still laughing. We all do stupid stuff like that - I once put Absorbine Jr. in that area for a fungal infection - OH MY GOD! It was like liquid fire. So I can relate.
