Guest guest
Kathy, I haven't tried olive oil when my psoraisis has flared but can tell you that fish oil would work because I put Desitin on my P when it flares and it helps - although it looks yucky. I know that it is the fish oil in the Desitin because plain old zinc oxide doesn't do the trick. Vicki, A lot of my problems started with my knee ballooning so big that I couldn't walk and they found " a baker's cyst " . I went through the same things you did. Fun, huh? And to everyone, Yes, I do have a hard time getting people to understand when I just can't do everything anymore. The only one hat seems to understand is my father and he's my guardian angel - always trying to be sure that I don't overdo it. When I do, I become physically ill and then " they " all remember that I can't do as much any more! Lynn Lassiter
Guest guest
Dear Darlene: No apologies are necessary. I just wanted to make sure that you were not looking at something that would cause more dissappointment and hassels later on. But, I am glad what I thought I heard was wrong. Guest guest
Dear AlleyPat: When you are vacinated against Heptatitis A or B, you build up what are called " surface antigens " . These show exposure and can be differentiated from getting them from a vaccine or actual virus. The question you posed was a real problem when the Hepatitis B Vaccine first came about. People in the health care field, on average, are the largest blood donor pools, and, when the vaccine was first given, the tests were to see if you had been exposed to anything that produced antibodies. Many, many units of blood, and then people, were rejected. Now the US blood is checked for surface antigens automatically, and, depending on certain results, tests may or may not go further. All this is done in the lab. But, tests can tell which is which. Marty

Guest guest
Dear Bill, I concur with you on how to take the vitamins, etc.....down the hatch at the start of the day and forget it. I would never remember to take the pills throughout the day nor would I have time. My detailed bloodwork was just completed and results were outstanding. I don't think you will eat your words. Guest guest
yea i was thinking that, but I have so many.. well, not really. I take royal jelly, prevacid, B12, potassium, and B Complex with C. I take the gentle iron caps with a vitamin without iron. So...... taking all of them at once would be a challenge for me, however, taking them throughout the day is too. I dunno... aW MGB 5/28/00 214/117 lbs Re: Digest Number 216 Dear Bill, I concur with you on how to take the vitamins, etc.....down the hatch at the start of the day and forget it.
