Thinking on going the ritalin route, but concerned about fear issues....

My son's fear issues are manageable, but there. We are thinking about trying

ritalin to see if it helps his attention/focus, but I'm a little concerned about

it adversely affecting his fear issues. Anyone have any experience one way or

the other?
