I responded very well and when he was 22 months old I was symptom free. I stopped MTX for 2 months before trying to get pregnant. I didn't have any problems then. I stopped NSAIDS 2 weeks before trying to get pregnant and inflammation came back almost immediately. Fortunately I got pregnant first try and by the time I was 6 or 8 weeks along I was in full remission for the rest of the pregnancy. However, my recovery after having the second child was not as good. I think mostly because it was so much harder to rest with 2 little ones in the house. So, we do not plan to have any more.
