Guest guest
One of my many jobs was working in a pharmaceutical factory, labarotory and drug formulations and also in a cosmetic factory so I had to know how to make stuff. All drugs regardless of the tablet size show the concentration of active ingredient. the rest of the tablet is usually starch to stabilise the tablet as a tablet and as means of giving you the dose. BTW to be accurate for 1.8% asprin the shampoo should be added the tablets(even if partially dissolved.) and made up to 100ml or multiples thereof. If you add the add the tablets to a 100ml of shampoo it would be close enough but slightly less concentration than 1.8% because of the volume of the tablets. You never forget your old lab skills. 1.8 % would be an arbitary concentration, to produce a stable product and produce a skin affect. The shampoo you use may not be stable depending on the interaction of the asprin and shampoo. You can just as esily dissolve an asprin and rinse it thru your scalp and add shampoo. just a thought michael From: " Janet Battcock " <janetbattcock@...> That is great!! What are you, some kind of a math nut?? LOL! Thanks for figuring that out! Janet
