Guest guest
>Is there really no cure? All we can do is live in pain? No, there is no cure. But we need not live in pain. There are many alternatives, including medical treatment, exercise, and spiritual healing. We need not live in pain -- we can take circumstances into our own hands and resolve these problems with our hearts and minds. North Jersey Mindfulness Communityhttp://satipatthana.orgnjmc@... We have good days where the pain might be there on a very low simmer and then bad days where it is a blazing inferno. There are many drugs options to help. If you have PA, the first thing to do is find a really good rheumatologist. You sound pretty despondent. Don't be. This group is a big help in managing this disease. Sometimes even more valuable than the medical profession. Take care, hang in there - better days are ahead,

Guest guest
There is no cure, that I am aware of. As far as living with the pain--there are medications available to help with it if you're tolerable for them. I know I have a few left to try . It's dealing with the pain until you find something that works for you and then it's trying again when the one that "used" to work doesn't anymore. Unfortunately for me I am on blood thinners the rest of my life and can't take most of anti-inflammatory medicines that would/could/should help. Your doctor should be able to give you something though that I pray will work for you.
Guest guest
This may sound crazy...but exercise will help both. Find something you like to do. It will also help with the depression.
