Hi Alice and everyone --

As always, Alice, you're the voice of common sense and experience. I've got

Swedish skin, so thin that it's almost transparent. No wonder I got a sun

allergy -- my ancestors probably never saw the strong stuff we get in the

middle of CA!

(Actually a diagnosis I got once, to add to the list of the bizarre names

we've all had applied to us: " typical Irish-Swedish skin, aggravated by

rosacea. " Go figure.)

I am blonde, fair skinned - grew up on the beach, lots of sun. In recent years I am more wise about the sun. I only have P on my scalp. However, for the past several if I get much sun (not too much, but am on the beach, or pool, etc.) my legs from the knees down get a rash. Slightly raised, not very itchy but a bit. An only on my legs, knees down. I though it might be a sun allergy, but I do not get it anywhere else. Could it be P? Thanks, Toadessa7

Hi - I'm also fair skinned and got lots of unprotected sun as a kid. As far as

I can remember, I never burned that badly, just got tan. Now, however, I burn

severly and get a rash - very blotchy and red. I know many of my drugs cause

sun sensitivity - ide, MTX, Allopurnal, and a few others -

Maybe it's all the build up of drugs causing your skin rash?
