I often have the dropsies. Sure can be frustrating at times, especially

when the back and knees are in pain and I've gotta reach down to pick

things up. Sometimes, when the pain is too bad, I keep my " grabber

thing " (oh my - I get brain fog so much too and I don't remember what

they are really called) handy for picking things up. It also helps me

to pull clothes out of the dryer.

Hope school goes well for you. Yes, it's best to let your profs know

about your health problems. I'm sure they will be understanding if they

know in advance that you could have to miss classes occasionally.

As a university professor myself I have to say I agree

w/ Oma. If we know in advance about someone's medical

condition we know to expect some absences. But if the

absences ceom first and the explainatino later we are

more likely to think that the student is trying to

have one over on us. So I say go tak to your

professor now!
