just wanted to pass on some personal experiences. i have been on neoral

for some months as i have already mentioned. i was on 100 mg 2x daily for

about 2 or 3 months, had blood checked and found that liver levels were high.

went down to 1x daily because ps cleared up. after a month, i went for a checkup

around the middle of june, and he said if the next blood test showed up high,

i would probably have to quit taking. i go this week for test. well, neoral is

the first med that has made my ps go away. after dr told me this, my husband

did some research and found that gingo biloba and zinc are a couple of good

supplements for keeping your liver healthy. the zinc made me a little nervous,

since it boosts immune system. got dr and pharma. blessing and started

taking 6/18. within about a week, i started feeling achy but blamed on

some physical work i had done. well, last week i started feeling real bad,

pain i haven't had in years. by friday night i could hardly get up out of bed

to go to the bathroom. i have not had this kind of hard pain in years, it was

incredible. then at 5am as i couldn't even roll over, it dawned on me, maybe

the zinc was doing it. so i didn't take it sat. woke up yesterday still a little

achy and was sore yesterday, but today i feel like i did before i started taking

zinc. it didn't hurt to get up, i forgot how great that is until i couldn't do

it again.

my fingers are still swollen, but feeling better. it is amazing how little it

takes

to screw our systems up. and the dr didn't think it would hurt to take since

neoral is an immunsupp. well, i will never take any immune booster again!

i just wanted to pass along my experience with zinc. i will let you know

how much, if any effect the gingkoba had my test results.
