Guest guest
Hi Marta, Thank you for your support and the articles. Aren't you due to have a scan done next week ? I hope that all goes well and that they can find something ( not that I want you to have anything wrong), so maybe your insurance will finally ok the IV meds that you need. I'll be thinking of you. Your Lyme Friend, << Hi and , I too suffered from the left shoulder, neck pain my first year of LD, I had a cervical MRI that showed herniation at discs C-5, C-6. Surgery was recommended but I opted to live with it, as I was feeling lousy enough and could not fathom more pain. The following year I had another MRI, that showed additional herniation at C-7, haven't gone for the third one, Lord knows what that will show. Many of us with LD have cervical disc problems, with no rhyme or reason, or injury to explain it. I cannot help but wonder why the doctors haven't made a bigger issue of it. The two studies related below are the only ones I have found to date about Lyme and cervical disc problems. , God Bless you for being able to play tennis. Hugs, Marta Lyme disease and disc herniation >>

Guest guest
<< Just a quick question for you all, how many of you have fibromylagia and PA together? Is it that common? Does anyone know if the points they refer to have to be symmetrical? >>> Judy, I have both. Seems like many of the tender spots are symetrical, but they certainly do not have to be. A very light touch will set off pain. If you have a doctor who pushes hard, he is not doing it right. Guest guest
Junebug580, As long as I do the Yoga everyday, it does not cause pain the following day. Suzanne __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Ross Who is the qualifying authority for this training, how many if any continuing education credits will be offered and I'm asking because I am trying to figure out if these credits and qualifications will transfer back here to the states specifically to the United States Army. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Guest guest
Hi, The course will be certified for CPD by either the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh or England. I work for the Edinburgh College as does the proposed instructor but he is also a Fellow at England. The course itself is an adaptation of the basic surgical skills course that all surgical trainees do at the beginning of their career. It is likely that the award will be for 24 hours of CPD and we need to see if there is more from the pre-reading component, but have doubts. If you need to know anything more, please feel free to ask. Cheers, Ross > > > > Ross > > Who is the qualifying authority for > this training, how many if any > continuing education credits will be > offered and I'm asking because I am > trying to figure out if these credits > and qualifications will transfer back > here to the states specifically to the > United States Army. Guest guest
Dr. Magat Thanks for your very informative reply. ---------------------------------------- Dear Tess, Where can i obtain your coconut tea in Austin, Texas, or the closest state or probably email order from within the US. --- Coconut Oil wrote: >
Guest guest
Coconut Cream I recently bought some coconut cream from tropical traditions. When I first opened the jar and gave it a taste it seemed to me that it was just coconut oil. Then I looked and noticed a line about a an inch from the top where there was a white top (coconut oil) and then a cream or ivory colored bottom. So I dug down into it and it was indeed different consistency and flavor. I'm confused though. What should I use this for? Just eat it? I mean it tastes good but should I cook with it? Put it in smoothies? Water? Thanks!
Guest guest
Smoothies, soups and stews, on toast or crackers, or mixed with water for coconut milk (I've never tried the latter). I like it in thicker soups - I add some tumeric or curry powder and, voila!, I have an Asian/Indian dish. Lynda " Maegan C. Guest guest
TT coconut cream does separate. I have not found a good way to overcome this. I've tried putting the jar upside down sometimes but it just seem to separate the other way. Any suggestion? I just take a tablespoon full twice a day. It seem easier on my system then just plain coconut oil but I noticed I have gained weight since doing it this way. Guest guest
I was under the impression that when you heated coconut oil some of the beneficial properties are eliminated. I still not clear on this although I have discussed it on this forum several times and even asked Bruce Fife himself. Guest guest
The only way that I have found to overcome this problem is to *thoroughly* mix it when it arrives (hard work). Then I used to put it in the fridge - got too hard. Now I just leave it in the cupboard and it stays fine - maybe because I live in San Francisco where it tends to be a little cool.
