Hi gang,

I heard yesterday from a good friend about two people she knows (one a

friend, and one a neighbor so it's not like reading it in the National

Enquirer or anything :-) who had so much cancer the doctors could do no

more. One of those people did have chemo, then spent a couple months at

some clinic in Idaho learning to do visualization. The other just

learned to do imagery on his own, taught by his wife who knew how to do

it. They did this very, very consistently and today neither person has

any evidence of cancer.

My thinking is -- you know where this is going -- if it could work on

something as bad as cancer, what effect might it have on a degenerative

disease like arthritis?

Just a rhetorical question to kick off this week!!

Louise, Thanks for those words of hope. I am a

believer. I strongly believe that we can control SOME

things with minds. I am willing to look into it.

Thanks again for the info.

Hi, Louise:

This is not a foolish question. At the NPF " conference " I attended in

Seattle in early July (or late June, I don't remember which), one of the

presenters talked about a study currently underway with someone who does

creative visualization on arthritis. You would have to get ahold of the

outfit in Portland to find out what the study is, but the person talking (I

think it was the NPF director) said that they were getting some promising

results.

Louise - where can we find out more about visualization?

Moderator note: I do know there is a book out written by Harp about three minute

meditations. Might be worth a trip to the library to see if there is more Pat B
