Guest guest
Hi, I would like to share this story with the group, I know in the past we have talked about autism service dogs. My puppy raiser sent me this story and it reminds me of the many struggles we have as parents with the school districts. Even though I do not live in Oregon, I plan on writing a letter to the Hillsboro School District in support of this child and having his service dog in the classroom. I have provided the contact information in case anyone else would like to write to the Hillsboro School District in support of this child and his service dog. Power in numbers is how I feel when it comes to supporting children with autism. Thanks, Dawn http://www.oregonlive.com/washingtoncounty/index.ssf/2010/01/dog_helps_stabilize\ _an_autisic.html Here are the school's address along with the Superintendent's address. I've also included fax number's for those who would like to send a fax.
