Hi Group,

Hope you are all enjoying the rush of the holidays .

I forgot to mention something to you that you may find both fascinating and

true true true.

For anyone who has psoriasis ( I wander to whom I am writing?) did you know

that a dip in the Dead Sea does wanders for this pesky condition?

How do I know?

Well, two years ago I was fortunate to go to Israel and visit the Dead Sea

area.

It was about 120 in the shade and I only went because it is such a tourist

attraction for kids . I had my two grandkids with me and of course they wanted

to see if it was impossible to sink in the Dead Sea.

It is in fact impossible to sink because the mineral content of the Sea makes

it as thick as pea soup .It feels warm gluey and very unpleasant. Not to

mention so salty that it " bites " any area that is even slightly cut.

Most people put on some mud that is liberally smeared all over the body then

go in very quickly for a photo shoot.

I had done the mud thing some years earlier so I just went in so that the kids

could take some pictures of me . You know just laugh at their funny grandma!

I stayed in the water about 15 minutes. That is about as long as I could

endure the heat and the unpleasant feeling of the slimy water.

The next day I noticed that all ( and I mean all ) my psoriasis on the legs

and the back of my arms was gone.

I must say that I have little psoriasis but what I had disappeared after that

dip.

I asked doctors about this and they knew that the Dead Sea had curative

minerals and salts for skin conditions.

So I know that this was not a hoax. And that I was not as crazy as I thought.

Of course the trip is costly and I cannot in any way guarantee that it will

" work " but since I have had this experience , I spoke to some other people who

assured me that this really does happen.

Please accept this information in the spirit that it is given. Just for the

sake of sharing something that may benefit anyone who is going to the Middle

East and could take advantage of this detour for some relief.

By the way the psoriasis not only disappeared but it has been two years since

I have seen a few of the " white spots " return on my legs.

So there you are. Yet another wrinkly about this mysterious deamon that we are

battling.

Now if someone could tell me about a dunk for my arthritis that would be

grand.

Even something temporary would be better that this on- again- off -again

teetertotter of good and bad days.

Well, just sharing .

And happy Thanksgiving to everyone .And Trish take care of yourself.

Hope the stress of the holidays will equal the joy of being with people who

love you .

Kit
