Guest guest
Yes, it comes out to be 133 drops. It sounds like alot, but when you see how much it is, it's really not alot of liquid. It has almost a bittersweet taste that isn't bad at all and will be easily mixed with a small amount of water or juice, or just given straight. The 25,000 I.U.'s should be given daily for 2 months. As for the other anti-virals, I'm pretty sure you can give them while you're doing the Vit A protocol, but you'll have to see what Dana says. I wasn't giving Dylan any other anti-virals at that time, but I was chelating him and it didn't interfere at all. The good signs will be obvious, and I think it varies from child to child. The thing to look out for is a rash on the back of the neck. Vit A toxicity rashes usually pop up there, but on day 5 of the protocol my son developed an itchy rash all over his body that I mistook for yeast until someone told me it was Vit A toxicity. I lowered the dose and he was fine. I believe there is a list of things to look for on Dana's site. Good Luck to you guys! Rhapsodist1 <tanveers@...> wrote: Dana, Maggie, and others; I need help in the High dose Vitamin A protocol. I have ordered the Ethical Nutrients Mycel Vitamin A. On the label it says, 1 drop=3,000 IU. Now according the the protocol [ http://www.danasview.net/vitamina. htm] the first two days, we should give 400,000 IU. Now if I do the math, 400,000/3,000 = 133 drops? Am I correct? And than after the first two days, give 25,000 IU, which would be 25,000/3,000 = 8 to 9 drops? For another how many days? Now, with this protocol should I continue the Anti Viral protocol (OLE, Vitamin C, L-Lysine)? Or at least skip the first two days -- when giving the high dose Vitamin A? How to administer the first two days? Give 133 drops of Vitamin A mixed in juice? How does it tastes? What are the signs to watch out for - good and bad? Please assist. Thank you! -TS ------------------------------------ =======================================================

Dr. McCandless recommends that dose as maintenance, altho for my son, once the measles virus was eliminated, I was unable to give him *any* supplemental vitamin A without causing toxicity. So watch for that. > Now, with this protocol should I continue the Anti Viral protocol > (OLE, Vitamin C, L-Lysine)? Or at least skip the first two days -- > when giving the high dose Vitamin A? I would keep whatever you are giving. At my house, removing anti-virals before it was time to remove them, allowed the viruses to replicate again and go back into my son's brain. > How to administer the first two days? Signs of toxicity, which I have listed on my site page http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm My son's toxicity rash did not appear on his neck, it appeared on the top of his knees at first, and then spread from there until I removed the vitamin A. All four of my kids have had toxicity symptoms from vitamin A, and only one of them did high dose protocol. And for each of my kids, their toxicity reaction was different, so don't just look for a rash. Dana
Guest guest
We want to do this 2 day protocol, but aren't sure where to get the Vitamin A - Should I get Kirkman's drops or Klaire Labs? How many drops do you need to do and do you give it a couple times a day? Is there anything else I should know? TIA! Lynn
Guest guest
This is best done under a doctor's care. Klaire Labs is a good source for high-dose vitamin A. > > Hi, > > Has anyone here tried the High dose vitamin A protocol? (for Measles virus?) I read that this can help with Visual stims. I did it for my son. I wrote my experience at the bottom of this page. http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, We are also recommended by Dr.U for high dose Vit A,Micellized Vit A, from Klaire, at 200,000iu/day for 2days. My girl is at 8 years and 10months, 52pounds. She has regression, after 2years old, but not very sharp regressions. Also Did not obeserve significant issues, after MMR, maybe just fever. Though she has no diarreah and constipations, daily 1 poop, but she does have GUT issues, where her absorption of amino acid is poor. She has high MBP issues in age7 (but medical test is fine in age 5) Other tests: Ref range results Rubella lgG AB,Quant 1U/mL 143 Rubella Antibodies Rubella lgG AB,Quant index 3.30H Rubeola Ab,lgG,EIA MUMPS 1gG, QUANT 0.00-0.90 3.52H Mumps Abs, 1gG Here are some worries and queries: **1) Vit A, form as recommended by our DAN is not same form as acetate. Any idea of the effect? **2) The dose is also different. Maybe not high enough. But we have tried 2-3times, to give higher dose, like we did, 1 day at 30,000iu, and not giving within 7days. Twice tried, she has big anger, crys without reason. Lately, this week, we give her about 9000-10000iu, but in form of cod liver oil, she has time to time angers, or moody, lost control, though not so serious, than 1 time at high dose. Does this mean, she cannot tolerate higher dose? Is this a sign of toxicity Should Itried dose at 20,000iu/day, and slowly increase to see her reaction and tolerance, before trying high dose? **3)Toxicity side effect, will stopping high dose protocol,be fine, or there is problem of causing liver burden, when toxicity happens? **4)Our girl does not have visual stims, but she has verbal stims..1 thing cannot be solved, is she is always thinking with animals, verbal, whispering animals, when looking at Mommy, or people. and recently more with verbal stims, more serious daily, wonder with increase of Vit A from 7400 to 9900iu, affecting the verbal stims ( Does this also means possible caused by measle virus? **5) Will IVIG also helps to fight with supress measle virus? tks for reading the details, will highly appreciate your further advice. All the best, Corinna > > Has anyone here tried the High dose vitamin A protocol? (for Measles virus?) I read that this can help with Visual stims. > > > I did it for my son.
