Guest guest
We're likely going to move there, and I'm trying to find information out about Asperger's groups and school support for a high functioning Aspie. What schools/school systems are good with these kids? Also, is it possible to do e-schooling (with the state paying the bill) and still have IEP support? -
Guest guest
Yes, you can do eschool and have it paid for by the state. We do this in Ohio. It is a state school and they provide the material, computers, etc. They also do IEPs and provide therapies, as needed and extra support as well. But i have to say that the IEP support is often ME. My ds's have sped teachers but when the problem is paying attention in class, for instance, I am the one there making sure he is paying attention. If they need assignments chunked, I do that.
